A total of 48 hotspots will be installed across 13 locations throughout Fingal and preparatory work has taken a major step forward this week. Fingal County Council staff, as well as representatives from Fingal Chamber and Magnet Networks, began visiting local businesses in Swords, Malahide, Rush, Lusk, Howth, Portmarnock and Blanchardstown Village and Town Centre

Magnet Networks is to unveil free on-street wi-fi in six towns across Tipperary at the end of April – the first deployment in an EU-backed €3m nationwide public connectivity scheme. The connectivity company has won the tender for Tipperary under the WiFi4EU initiative, which provides funding to local authorities for free wi-fi in public areas
